What is SiteProbe?

SiteProbe is a tool that checks the status of your website hourly, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This gives the webmaster more time to be creative and improve his/her content instead of constantly worrying about whether or not the site is "up".

SiteProbe offered for free for the first 90 days, and the basic service is only one dollar per month after that.

Remember to take advantage of our alert feature. If you wish to be notified when your site status changes from up to down, or vice versa, just edit your user profile to enable alerts. You may also send these alerts to an alternate email address, as in one for a pager or other more immediate messaging service.

We have a "second opinion" system to reduce the number of false alarms. Because the machines that actually contact members' sites are distributed in different areas and networks, we now will try from another machine in a different location to make absolutely sure that YOUR system or connection is really down, not ours.

Quip: Xylophone is spelled with an X. It should be a Z. Xylophone ZZZ, X, I don't see it. Next time you spell Xylophone, spell it with a Z. If someone tells you you're wrong, say "No, I ain't." If you think that that's wrong then you need to get your head Z-Rayed. It's like X didn't have enough to do so they had to promise it more. "Okay, you won't start a lot of words, but you will have a co-starring role in Tic-Tac-Toe. And you will be equated with hugs and kisses. And you will mark the spot. And you will make writing 'Christmas' easier. And you will incidentally start 'xylophone.' Are you happy now?"
